31 Songs of Halloween 2017, Day 3

Like many I was exposed to this track in the classic 1996 Rodriguez/Tarantino vampire flick "From Dusk Till Dawn", though The Blasters actually released it in 1985 on their album "Hard Line". It has a kind of timeless blues-infused western feel, with the right mix of foreboding and cool style to fit right in at Halloween, especially in a particularly hot October like this one has been so far. If you listen to the lyrics, the song shares the common horror trope that bigoted, close-minded and violent people are the real monsters, and amen to that.
